Secret Star – Boutique hotel in Nottingham

I had a wonderful day shooting a very lovely client - who's identity is secret!!

So she wanted to treat herself to some pampering and a collection of stunning images.

So travelled to Nottingham and we shot on location at a fabulous secret Boutique hotel.

After a wonderful night sleeping in her stunning hotel room – she greeted myself and my make-up artist Amy with an excited giggle and a beaming smile!

With a consultation to get an idea of the type of look that she loves - we planned the day to ensure we produced a variety of stylish and eye-catching images.

For her makeover - Amy created stunning - sultry make-up and glamorous hair.

Yerbury Boudoir Seminar

Just back from the Yerbury Boudoir Seminar.
WOW - a truly inspiring day!!
Hence why I'm updating my very out of date blog - as Mr Yerbury reminded me of how naughty it is to have a blog and not keep it updated!
Trevor & Faye Yerbury are industry leaders and have been produce stunning and inspirational images for over 40 years.

I really love what they do so took some time out from my everyday to check them out. The images above of models Rebecca and Jenny were shot in the Loxley lecture theatre with only a black bed sheet as a background and one light!! To get these shots I was literally shooting between the heads of other people - whilst sitting in the second row!! Simplicity at it's best!

Ursula was awarded first place in four categories – glamour photography category, contemporary portrait , ten portraits from one session category and the under fives portrait and most importantly, the overall title of East Midlands Photographer of the Year 2010. All off the winning images are from commissioned work that Ursula undertook for clients.
Being a Mum takes up so much of my time at the moment so winning these awards means even more to me this year!

Captivating Kelly!

Kelly was surprised by her fiancée with a Mimi Experience as a Birthday gift (lucky Lady!)

She arrived at the studio, a little nervous but mostly with an excited energy of what her Mimi Experience was to be.

After a coffee & chat with myself & Claire (www.clairesalter.co.uk), we all agreed a on stunning, sultry, smokey look to compliment Kelly's sparkling green eyes and a light curl with texture for the hair.

Kelly was an star to work with - totally loving the shoot whilst sipping pink fizz & giggling!!

Beautiful Baby Bump.

Mauricia had a Mimi Mama Milestones experience - just seven weeks before her baby's due date.

Mauirica said " the photos are great! I have just spent two hours looking at them and there are so many nice ones that it is hard to choose the ones I like the best"

She was a star to work with and we created some really beautiful images that both her husband - her baby & Mauricia will love even more over the years to follow.

She's gone and done it again!

Last night Ursula swept the board at the annual MPA East Midlands Award Ceremony.

Ursula grabbed first prize in the Complete Portrait, Fashion and Glamour, Licentiate Portrait and the Commercial categories!
